MOT advisory fuel pipes

Post by Bristol RS » Sat Jul 04, 2020 5:35 pm

This has been on the past few MOT’s but got a feeling it may be the old DRC pipes by the fuel tank - car now has Bilsteins fitted. Tester said last week they needed replacing ASAP as badly corroded. Haven’t been under the car to look yet but thought fuel lines were hard plastic not metal which would confirm old DRC pipes. Anyone ever removed a tank or know if any fuel lines in this area are metal?

Thanks :)

Hi James

Thanks for confirming I have already asked the tester to take another look just got to find some time and take the car back down. Hopefully get it sorted and taken off for a clean bill of health.
