Vibration over 3000rpm

Post by Gary(rs4)87 » Sat Jun 27, 2020 5:21 pm

Hi,

Vibration issue over 3000rpm. Standing or driving no matter.
Especially it can feel in the clutch pedal.
Clutch not slipping at all.

Before the new Slave cylinder and return pipe fitted it was no vibration at all.

Is it DMF? Or there’s some air in the system? Or what can be else?

Check if your subframe is loose, or something related due to the work you had done.
I once had work done by an Audi dealer and they loosened my engine supports and two bolts were missing, ie my engine was loose. MRC found this, I nearly sh1t. I could not believe how stupid moronic some mechanics are.
