I disagree … if it is fully removed and treated It won’t return if cared for. Other wise all car restorations would become rusty again.

It’s down to 90% preparation and perspiration lol…. And a good sprayer

Have you ever restored a car-i have,,a good few now.....

you cut out and let in good metal where there is bad rust

where it has rusted as badly as that it will return-you can media blast it right down,use the best of fillers/primers but it will return eventually

any car restorations which have rusty metal like that left on the body will show through again-quicker than you think too

To reply :) yes several times from an 90s French nightmare gti to a very easy TVR for obvious body reasons

I think the key to this I did say remove all the rust…. Not leave it there in any state …so yes whether that be panel cut and replace or removal of spots

We will have to see as time will tell
