Can't remember who posted a link to these (thanks, whoever it was), I'd been looking periodically as mine are getting towards the end of their life. The kit was there the day before I ordered, but had disappeared on the day I actually came to place it. I know this deal comes around so it wouldn't have been the end of the world, but I had added it to my wish list. If you have done that, it turns out you can order it at the correct price via your wish list even when it is not showing as available on their website. Might be worth doing when they next appear if you haven't...

On this Brembo topic, Anyone seen the Brembo 380mm + caliper adapter kit... and cant find it anymore and coming up on needing brakes. I would do the Giro kit but after converting our other car with a big brake kit with slotted/dimpled I have some unwanted noise I think relate to the slotted rotors, and prefer the look of drilled only (crazy right). Thoughts guys?

I think the reyland 380mm kit comes with new bells so they were no longer a bargain like their front discs.

Local indy having fun trying to remove the shim from the callipers as they are corroded - just hoping it doesn't need new ones as Audi wants £735. Per side...

Local indy managed to sort it, so total cost was under £950. Audi would have charged me nearly £4k, I reckon...

Did you get free lube if you used the dealer?

Probably not!

Discs and pads were £1,200 in 2011, so I reckon nearer £1,500 now. Callipers Nearly £900 (after VAT) each plus some for labour, which at £250 p/h soon stacks up. I'd have come home walking like John Wayne after a long day in the saddle...

John Wayne could take it. No one would want to take that bill.
