MMI question

Post by dools225 » Sun Feb 02, 2020 6:20 pm

In the ‘car’ section is there meant to be a list of items to setup or is it just version as in the pic below?

Apologies for hijacking this thread, but: I was always under the impression that our cars didn't have Bluetooth connectivity out of the box... So, what's that Bluetooth sign on the display doing there? :?:

Not sure if it was optional but mine defo has it as I have my phone linked up through handsfree. Has to be engine off when you 1st setup your phone though or it won’t find it

There was a factory option for hands free phone so I assumed this was by Bluetooth. I think perhaps it only allowed you to make and receive phone calls but not play your music.

Yeah mine has got Bluetooth it is very primitive though.

However I have replaced mine now with the wireless Apple Car Play unit from Alpine (ILX 107).
RS4 B7 • Phantom Black • Centre Resonator Delete • Wireless Apple CarPlay
SQ5 TDI • Ibis White • Fully Optioned • Wireless Apple CarPlay
