Sounds good/logical. The only other question is whether it's possible to reinstall DRC - just so I'd be going into it with my eyes wide open.
You won't look back with the koni honestly
B7 saloon, koni Shocks and h and r springs, h and r spacers 8mm f+r, milltek non res with valves, milltek d/ps, k and n filter, full mrc carbon clean, mrc stage 2 with l/c and f/s 456bhp 522nm.

The KONI kit we do has very special valving and is designed to be stiffer in slow shaft speeds IE high speed cornering and harsh braking . it is also Softer in hi speed shaft movements IE bumpy surfaces , This is why the fitting of KONI dampers doesnt need uprated ARB because the shock can limit body roll better than the DRC did .

This valving facilitates improved Handling and comfort and is why Gary is feeling a firmer ride , BUT still comfortable .
I am after the Koni kit for mine. PM sent.

Resurrecting an old thread guys, but as not really tech savvy and new to the forum, is there a list of who can repair the DRC ( just had a pipe burst and my specialist in West Yorkshire, doesn't have the set up to fix )
