Morning all,

Picked up a B7 RS4 Avant on Friday.
My car history is Peugeot 106 GTI, Golf GTI, BMW E36 Evo, Mini Cooper S, Porsche (996) 911 Carerra 4S, Jeep Wrangler Chelsea Truck Company (not my finest hour) and now the RS4.
As i've only had it a few days i've not fully settled into it but so far i'm absolutely thrilled with it, what a brilliant car to drive, it just feels so well planted to the road and the power is just always there available. I can see this one being a keeper already!
It's a 2007
77,000 miles
Wingbacks
Non Sunroof
Auto Lights (possibly adaptive lights to)
Privacy glass but i believe this may have been retrofitted as i can clearly see the heating elements
Bluetooth - Invoice showing it was retrofitted in 2015 but so far no idea how to get it to work

Plans are as follows :
Centre res delete
Spacers
Wheel Refurb as all 4 have been kerbed
Either a rear wiper delete or get the auto wipe on reverse coded out as it does my head in

And here are the obligatory pictures, let me know if there's anything you notice about the car which i may not have picked up on/realised..

Looks lovely. Grill is dark and window surrounds are silver. They usually match.

Good looking car. Not sure you will manage to give the car a proper workout in Jersey, no doubt a ferry trip to France will be in order to benchmark the 3rd gear 3,000 - 8,000 RPM time? Enjoy!

Thanks, yeh definitely need to get across to France to really stretch it's legs, hopefully early next year.
Despite the lame speed limit over here i'm loving the car already, just feels like a fantastic piece of engineering.
Kicking myself for not getting one 2 years ago when i got the Jeep.

Whilst it doesn't bother me one way or another, I'd avoid the term 'wingbacks' around here if I were you!

Glad you're enjoying it - on Michelin PS4Ss? If not, go for them when you do change.

Ah ok, what's the story with the 'w*ngb*ck' description being frowned up? Better to refer to them as RS Bucket seats?

Going to be a while before changing tyres, currently have Continental Contisportcontacts on which were fitted earlier this judging by the date stamp on the tyre.

I think that term is generally considered to apply to American football, so you're safer with buckets/sport seats.

The Michelins are fantastic, and feel like they really allow the car's talents to shine, and aren't phased by wet or colder weather.
