Anybody any experience of Steinjager adjustable arms?

Post by mikep99 » Fri Oct 11, 2019 7:58 am

Hi all,

Just looking around and found these:
https://steinjager.com/shop/index.php?r ... t_id=29434

Anybody and experience of using them or Steinjager in general?
Seem to be a good price....

Thanks
Mike

Not used or heard of those ones before but are you aware that every time you want to make an adjustment you have to disconnect one end if the arm? This means it takes a lot longer to do the initial set up. This is the same as the 034 Motoraport ones I used to have.
If you go for something like the Stern ones they have the adjustment nut in the middle of the arm so you can adjust them without taking one end out.

Hi Mike,

Yeah, I'm just doing some reading up on them at the moment.
Seems like the options are the ones above, 034 or Stern.

Cheers for the reply.

I had no issues with the 034 ones other than initial set up took longer. Other than that they were fine. I'm sure the ones above will be similar.

Theres also SPC, I personally have these on my car and are easy to adjust.

Not cheap, fortunately I got them of another US owner at a lower price Image, link below for reference

Correct, I didn’t think they made them aymore but here is a link:

https://www.moog-suspension-parts.com/m ... wE#fitment

It seems that you need to buy 2 to complete a kit so for the total price its better in my view to go with SPC’s Image

Now to your original post, the price is quite good when you compare to the other options, seems crazy that to get an easier adjustability you have to pay more than twice...

Cheers
