Centre box delete

Morning all is there any reason these couldn’t be modified to fit the standard system ? http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayIS ... spheader=1

Is it the fact that the bore size will be the same at the standard exhaust? If so surely i could use some jointing sleeves Or am i just better taking it to an exhaust place

Pretty sure that should work and Milltek are the same size as OE, but maybe give Milltek a call to check. Should sound nice with the centre resonator removed.

I still have OEM system, did some searching and came up with Supersprint manufacturer. Not sure if it's good or bad, although it appears to be direct fit to stock system

A good local exhaust fabricator will be able to add straight, x or h pipes to replace the res-centre section for less than the price of the Miltek or Supersprint part, especially once you add shipping and fitting costs.

I went for the straight pipe option, best modification I have done to the car, sounds wonderful with the rear valves always open. No drone, not too loud and has a nice bassy V8 note at low revs and load.

Cold starts are a bit noisy if you still have the cold start function enabled!

You must have more money than sense!

Why did you not go to your local exhaust fabricator and get them to do straight, X or H pipes for a fraction of the price :bash:

Cheers
