Hi guys
Looked at a Daytona Gray Avant 2008 today in the South of Ireland,a few things were not adding up, service book missing no real knowledge of the history of the car, DRC had leaks and this is all on a 48,000 mile car! By any chance does anyone know of any History of this car? Obviously it was on a Personl/private please in the UK BFB7.
I have walked away from the sale for now..

I'd walk away personally.
Or perhaps get the chassis number and see if Audi know anything about it?
Any previous owner details on the log book etc etc..

It'd be interesting to see if you can get anything from the chassis number which the seller should be able to provide.
You could then contact Crewe Audi on here who should be able to tell you what's in their system for it.
But anyway, you've done the right thing walking away.

There was a Daytona grey identical to this for sale around the start of the year in south Ireland (Wexford to be exact) and it had no front seats. You also required a dealer number to purchase it. It was on U.K. plates at the time.
It was for sale when I was looking for mine.
Id very much suspect it’s the same car. It was probably a write off cos the seats had been had.

Sounds about right as the car had only be purchased a few months, probably was the same car they don’t come up to often on this side of the pond (Avant) you do see the odd saloon.

I do not think there is one as good as mine in the country.
