Sorry for my late response.
I have tried multiple times to code it but it simply doesn`t accept the coding.
It is the same error message as I mentioned before.
Could it be that Exeo firmware does not support AMI ? :(

Hello all,

Unfortunately the Nav refuses coding even with a different VCDS interface.
Attached you can find all the NAV details (PN, SW and actual coding).
The main issue is that the AMI coding is refused with error 31 (coding out of range).
Could be a software fault ? Should I try to reflash it with an older software ?
Thank you !

Chris,

Your firmware looks different to mine
yours H05 0710
mine H06 0220
same Seat Exeo RNSE.
Maybe Jon can see what he has ?

Just been having a search online...

I think 710 is a hacked version of the firmware, there is some mention of firmware 700 if you do a search.

Latest RNS-E mk2 official firmware is 220 as far as I'm aware.

One of them is H06 0220, the other is H06 0200.

Yes, you are correct.
My firmware is 0710 because I used the hack tool in order to enable any DVD to be used for maps (https://www.digital-eliteboard.com/thre ... 30.452132/).
But the only thing that this tool does is to increase the FW version, so that RNS-E detects it as an update, and also removes the burner protection.
Could there be any differences ... hardware wise (H06 vs H05) ?

LE : In the meantime I got my answer from the hack-tool forum : Units with 710 Sw don’t work with backup cam and ami !
LE 2 : So now I have to find a way to revert the unit to last Audi official software ...

Thank you very much for your support !

193 units with firmware 0220 onwards are running the Audi firmware (V574 hardware platform).
193 units with firmware 0700 onwards are running the Seat firmware (VB48 hardware platform).

So an outwardly apparent Seat Exeo unit that is showing 0220+ firmware has either...
* Had it's motherboard replaced with one from an Audi.
* Been cross flashed with the alternative firmware.

ChrissDeejay is correct: The Seat firmwares have AMI, reversing camera and OPS disabled.

However I have done some work to re-enabled them, and I now have some an alpha firmware available to fix this. It's not available for public download yet, but you can visit my RNS-E firmware update site here.

Best to send a support request if you need me - I may not check back here that often :)

I can confirm that the alpha firmware is working great on Seat RNS-E + AMI. :)
