Post by Dinosroume » Mon Jul 15, 2019 12:20 pm

After i got tuned my car with revo stage 1 , 2 days later the engine light and epc came on.
I remove the intake manifold and found that my flaps has lot of play.I fix them and the car runs fine.
Now the RS4 has this VCDS scans

000370 -Fuel Trim:Bank 1
P0172- 008 - System Too Rich - MIL ON
006435-Please Check DTC Memory of ECU Number 2
P1923 -008
000373-fUEL tRIM : Bank 2
P0175-008 System Too Rich

AND RANDOM MULTIPLE MISFIRE
AND MISFIRE ON CYLINDER 5 AND SOMETIMES ON 6 AND 8.

This happens after slowing down from Acceleration or from fast driving.

I'm Going to revo to see what they have to say.

If the car was fine before you had the remap then the chances are it is the new map causing the problems.

My car had misfires on certain cylinders but that was traced to weeping injectors making the plugs wet, creating a weak spark.

You want to get the map fixed quickly as any unburnt fuel will damage the cats and has the potential to cause a fire (my left exhaust has trouble passing an MOT test).

One of the few places I would trust to remap my car would be MRC

I agree they would be the ones for me to look at a problem like this but the OP is in Greece so I think going back to Revo is the best bet.

Thanks for your answer Mike, when i was fixing the flaps i disconnect the battery for 2 days. After i finished i took the car to REVO and they told me that the car lost half of the setting because i disconnected the battery. No misfires since they upload the lost settings , Only fuel trim Rich and low fuel preassure regulator outside specification.

If i had vac leak the mixture would be lean not rich.
Maybe the injectors can't keep up with the remap or software problem
when i erase the faults , the engine light comes on after 2-3 days.

Would love to get a tune from Doug and unleash the full pontential of my RS4 but they don't offer remote tuning.

No more misfires since i got back to revo and they told me the ecu lost half of his setting because i disconnect the battery an they upload them again. No misfires now. Maybe injectors need a check.
