Anyone tried mix unleaded race fuel with 100 pump gas or knows about toluol mix with fuel? or

I expect you would have to have the car tuned to take advantage of the extra octane ? I know the ignition will advance if doesn't knock but I would expect that is within the parameters of pump petrol so maybe up to 100 ?

We used to run our bikes (highly tuned 2 strokes) on a mix of aviation fuel and pump petrol but they were tuned for it. The octane would have been less than V-Power is now any way (99) as it was 100 diluted with pump petrol. For 4T engines octane boosters were considered better anyway as less side effects.

Mine was mapped at MRC to run on Tesco momentum 99ron. I get quite a big difference when I use regular.

I run 100 octane BP fuel ,and the octane rate is always 102 when tested with octane analyzer.
My RS4 B7 is REVO stage 1 and runs perfect on BP fuel , in NA engine you don't need high octane numbers , but more oxygen in fuel like race fuels.
And thinking try an octane booster . My mate has an 600whp evo x and during the remap when he put this https://www.nfadditives.com/Products_Oc ... osters.php and almost knock sensors destroyed. His tuner told me this is the best octane booster but you need a remap.
I want to try something for more street use than racing.

I always run 100 octane fuel,but if the gas station run out of 100 and use 95 i agree with there is a big difference.
Want try an octane booster which expands the fuel oxygen.

I use Millers Octane Booster. I’m based in Ireland and only 95RON is available so I’ve no choice but to try something. It seems to do something as there’s definitely a difference in when I go without it.

I hope it isn’t doing anything bad.
