Hi all.
2007 RS4 saloon here. Rear sun visor/blind/sunshade device no longer works. Just a click and a failure of the motor to run. Mechanic reckons it's burnt out and needs replacing. Audi would like 1200eur for the parts alone - entire assembly only with no option to buy the motor separately.
Cheapest other option I could see was from the states for 700USD before even getting into taxes and shipping.
Anyone any experience in solving this issue? For a reasonable price bearing in mind it's just a fried motor...

Look for one being broken up, I have one that I'm looking to retro fit at some point but they do come up

It might be worth ringing Mervyn Ashton at Autoelectron,he is in Harrogate north yorkshire
