Yes. Much stiffer. Car becomes much more neutral and flat in cornering.

Thanks, i wasnt sure whether upgrading an already upgraded bar would be worth it, dont suppose you know whether SS+ anti roll bar clamps can be re used or if they come with the kit?

You just need the H&R kit no extra parts required. I did the thicker front ARB from H&R at the same time.

Usually the new bars come with their own rubbers as the diameter of the bar is bigger , the mounting brackets remain standard .

Does the increase in arb size affect general comfort at all?

Yes, it makes the low speed ride quality harsh. There are 2 settings on the ARB's so you could make it softer.

Hard to say for me - I did coilovers at the same time. The car feels like it rides much better, but I'm used to performance cars - so depends on what you feel is 'good'.

Problem is audi made two brackets for SS and SS+ 😂 so if i do order the bars will have to see if mine fit

jamesbaby , the thicker A R B shouldnt affect comfort at ALL , The purpose of the anti roll bar is to increase affective spring rates ONLY in cornering to limit body roll .

Ok thanks for your input. I was thinking of going to the SS+ Arb.

The DRC on my Avant is working fine but to me the rear end feels a little harsh. Springs are all checked and ok. So don’t want to do anything that would make it feel worse.

Ordered myself a set of h&r bars and the SS+ brackets don’t fit which is a pain as I bought new ones, so I either buy new brackets and use the h&r bushes or buy 22mm bushes for the standard brackets 🤔

Do you have a SS+ ARB for sale? If so I’d like to buy it from you.

Springs too if you have them.
