No shame in that. It’s more gutting to have to spend ££ to fix something you’ve cocked up yourself because you were a little too optimistic about your own abilities. We’ve all been there, though. I’m surprised they thought the switches were a nightmare to fit; once the trim is removed, they’re relatively easy.

Glad they’re sorted, now.

First time they fitted a clutch switch he said, cruise controll still dont work but im going to leave that alone for now.

My cruise control issue was resolved by replacing brake switch. Luckily for me a brake fault was thrown. I replaced switch, easy, no issues since touch wood.
Be worth getting a fault code reader. I always carry an Obdeleven in glove box

i have a crappy one in the car but it gives no faults. Its back in soon so ill just pick one up and get that thrown in awell mate cheers. Never thaught to change that one could have got them all done together lmao
