Changed DRL’s

Post by super7 » Sun Jan 13, 2019 12:11 pm

So i had a go at changing the DRL’s as I didnt like how yellow they were.

I saw FrazerD’s build page and thought they looked much better so would give them a go.

Didn’t want to spend loads so got these £8 ones off eBay. ... 2221930595

Everything I read about doing the job said it was difficult/fiddly and you need small hands. I’m 6’6” and have large hands so i dreaded this! Turns out it’s not that bad, just had to think about the angles. The drivers side is the worst with the hoses in the way.

The before and after pics don’t look amazingly different, but it is much whiter looking at it in the flesh.

I’ll add a nighttime pic when it gets dark.

But if you’re thinking about doing it - it’s not as bad as you read!

This is the only thing I don’t like. The glass is blue. Can’t see it when on but not sure how I like it parked. May replace with clear at some stage.
