Hello..... discs and pads look like they have 500 miles on them if that!

That’s for the front and rear

Brake fluid level looks fine, yet this warning pops up every now and again..... any suggestions??

And the same with the bonnet sensor , normally comes on when I reach the 100mph mark.... slightly unnerving thinking about the bonnet flying up at high speeds
2006 2-tone merlin purple , decat delete, res delete, x-pipe and rear back box delete......rs5 alloys.. silver brake callipers

Not sure what you are saying, if the pads only have 500 miles left in then you would see that warning ? Change them.

Not sure about the bonnet, faulty sensor maybe?

I think he is saying that they look like they ha e only done 500 miles. If so then check the wiring to the brake pad sensor, sounds like it has a dodgy connection or the wire is on its way out.

Remove the connection, spray some terminal cleaner in there and reconnect.

If your sensor terminals corroded as mine were, I got some emery paper cut it into a narrow strip and rubbed the female terminals. I had to do this periodically which annoyed me. So, I went to Audi and they do a repair kit which is easily fitted if you can solder and use shrink wrap.
