Well, the job has turned into a bigger job..... not totally unexpected.

The near side of my car has been previously painted and it had dropped on the rear quarter and also the front door had a reaction under the paint along with some lacquer peel.

So as it was partially stripped now was the time to rectify this...

Can not wait to get the car back next week and start putting the Bilstein suspension on it along with the new BBS wheels and tyres.

All back from body Shop. Please with the spray wrap on the trims and grille.

The only thing I think I am going to change is the roof bars from gloss to satin black as they just look out of place....?

Looks great, with your new wheels too. Looking forward to seeing some photos in daylight. Maybe some black rings will add to the black theme. I’m thinking my next job is going to be getting my trim wrapped too.

Cheers

Removed all pipe work and the DRC units below rear boot floor. Don’t want any fluid dripping all over the place from residue in the old lines. They were rotten in places.

New top mounts getting fitted with the PSS9 Bilstein kit and various bushes and arms being replaced too.

Will get some pictures of the install as it progresses. Also the corner weight and geometry setup.

Also sent roof bars back to spray wrap in satin black as gloss black just did not look right.

Replacing various worn bushes and tie arms.

Removed wheel arch liner and cleaned off, then wax oiled.
