Following on from my post re. synchromesh issue I'm having with 2nd. I was considering if the gearbox needs to come out doing the clutch and flywheel at the same time. Car is at 78k miles now so seems worthwhile.

What are the recommendations? Stock Audi or are there better alternatives?

I stuck with oem clutch and dual mass. Upgraded to the robnic clutch pipe.

Light weight single mass flywheel. Half the cost, half the weight, freer revving.

Ttv racing do a billet flywheel for about £360, i had one on a Peugeot 306 rallye and the quality was spot on

hi,after two weeks,i will upload one set of oem dual mass flywheel and clutch kit for very reasonable price.
i installed to my car around 14.000km before, now i'm doing the supercharger upgrade,so that kit is not enough,i will upload to sell.

If you want to save some money, maybe could be a good decision.

thanks
