Just replaced mine with a LED DRL kit off eBay, £40 all in delivered to my door. 10 mins to fit looks a good quality kit and performs well, tested the resistors and they don't get that hot at all.
Do you have a link? Did mine and like them but wonder if I can get better.

A few months on are you still going well with the LEDs? I am thinking of getting some too.
