So,

I’ve just purchased my first RS4 B7.

I live in wilmslow near Manchester airport and was wondering if anyone wouldn’t mind plugging my car in and having a look.

Also I’ve noticed it doesn’t have the auto light option. Wouldn’t mind this fitting

The light sensor is in the mirror bracket with the rain sensor. So if you don't have rain sensitive wipers it will mean a new screen. If you have rain sensitive wipers then it might be possible to replace the switch and mirror and wire it up I am not sure.

I think it would be quite an extensive piece of work for what is really a convenience function - although I do like mine !
