Just after a second opinion from other like minded people...
So, i have finaly got my car into the garage to get a few jobs done which mainly includes all front suspension arms (only needed uppers but only paid £140 for a full meyle hd kit) and discs, pads, hoses etc.
Anyway, i have removed the upper control arm nut and the bolt is stuck in, before i spend hours and hours messing about with heat etc do i just cut through the control arms and take the upright (or whatever its called) to a garage to get pressed out?

You can but you’ll need to remove the drive shaft as well.

Re: The dreaded siezed upper control arms
Had a go with a blowtorch and impact gun and got both out in under an hour which was nice, unfortunately found out my rear bushes are toast too and maybe the oil cooler
