Does anyone know of this car? I'm digging for some history on it as his advert is very vague.....

Ha ha ha! I've a M3 at the mo. The above RS4 is more than I'd planned to spend, also I didn't really want a black one. But I am considering it...... :blackrs4:

So after going to look at this car I wasn't that impressed. The power didn't really feel any better than the M3 to me, and the reason for looking for the RS4 was to be able to get my kids in the back, well it wasn't actually any bigger than the M3 to be fair!

Anyway, after noting this Nick said he knew of an RS6 that he may be able to get hold of. A visit 10 mins later and a test drive that made my vision go funny, I left thinkinking this is the one for me!

So, the deal was done, and I've px'd the M3 for the RS6! Slightly bricking it now that I may have made a very crazy decision!!!

😂after all this time you ended up with an RS6!!!! I think I’d want a comfort Rs4 if I had kids.

This one or different?

I wonder how many times Mick J has sold that B5. He sold a hell of a lot of them over and over, same with the E46 CSL’s.

Yep I'm enjoying it. I wanted a B7 RS4 for so long having driven one back in 2010 and loved it. Plus I've always loved the style. But the one he had just wasn't worth the money, plus I've 3 kids and the B7 platform isn't much bigger than the M3 so it was a bit pointless. After viewing the RS6 the size was clearly a better option. I think fitting 3 kids seats in the back may still be an issue (not tired it yet), but its bigger than the 4.

It likes to drink the rocket fuel that's for sure! Commute to work is averaging about 12mpg! :FIREdevil: But I don't need to use it every day.

It was sold via Nick Johnsons company, but wasn't his stock, as technically he sourced it for me, but the deal was still done with him and receipt given (I had to ask for that!). I'm not too sure if that means I get a warranty or not, I've NEVER bought a car from a dealer, always private, so not used to that privilege anyway. It's booked into Audi Oxford next month for an oil service and health check (£355), and I've just bought a few other things for it it needs. Wheels need refrubing next.

Here it is just before I took it needing a good valet!
