Going with 20% premium stuff which also reduces heat. Got to keep my staffie cool.
Will post a pic when done Friday if anyone is interested.

Rear tints done yesterday and we are really pleased with the new look and the 80% reduction in heat transfer compared to front glass. This was demonstrated with a BTU metre when I picked it up. Tint is 20% and only took 2.5 hours.
I think it looks really good and our staffie has already felt the benefits after a walk.

I’m not a fan of saloons with tints but I completely understand the need to keep your four legged mate cool.

Did you get the staffy or car first? I looked at Saloons but became obvious I needed an avant for the two mutts. Are you using a hammock thing on the back seats?

With you hence why I was initially asking for advice on combinations and haven't gone for limo tint. The heat reduction sold it for us, works well, looks good in the flesh and more importantly the boy is well chilled in the back whilst we have some fine weather.
Staffie came before the Loon but it is no.5 so no surprises and hes part of the family so entitled to a seat. We already had a hammock cover, never used as a hammock as he's always harnessed in. The cover is really good, quilted, very strong, wide enough to tuck in the sides, webbing straps to lock under headrest and 2 plastic tubes that go between base and back to keep everything in place and those lush seats protected.
Over the last 5 years i tried a few times to talk myself into an Avant but always came back to a Sprint Loon and so glad I stuck with my urge ;-)

Funny as I don’t regret buying marts avant solely because of the dogs, I feel guilty about putting the monsters in the boot so I can imagine heart pulpitashions putting them rear seat bound.

Initially yes it was daunting but he's a good lad and never left unattended. As I said he's part of the family so we always look to take him with us.
Great cars whatever the flavour ;-)

Out of interest, is the OEM tint a film?
