Intake manifold flap sensors

Post by Gary(rs4)87 » Sun Jul 15, 2018 3:30 pm

Is anyone here who can code out the flaps sensors? Already deflapped but yesterday I changed the pcv valve including manifold seals, and now the EPC light always on. P2020 and p2015 the codes.
I know the stage 2 is the best way but Im planning to decat the car. I already have the manifold but is 1400miles away so I don’t want to drive across europe and back with EPC light on.
Im looking for someone who can code out only the sensors! Then when Im back will be booking to stage2
Thanks for the help. Image

Hi

I am not a expert but according to me you are not suppose to get any errors if you only deflapped. How I have it is that you should keep the solenoid valves and sensors in place then you will not get codes. Are you sure that nothing got damaged when refitting the manifold?

Yes unfortunately the main vacuum pipe has split. Thats why causing a lot of error codes including the sensors and SAI error codes.
So I have to take off the manifold again to sorted the issue. Then booking the car to MRC next month.
