Should our fans be coming on to help cool these beasts in this weather?
My temp isnt moving stays on 90 but i have never heard them come in even after a good thrashing in this weather.
Anyone else noticed anything diffrent?

I have just replaced the main fan on ours(fan blades had parted company from the motor) and have been keeping an eye on it for the past few days.
Fan is all good when engine is running but stops when ignition is turned off.

Given the recent weather, and the fans not kicking in at all, you would think you would have an overheating issue.
I seem to remember it being said that the Temp gauge doesn't read above 90 (i have not seen ours go over 90) in
order to stop drivers worrying about the gauge rising at times and thinking something is wrong
If overheating happens then apparently a warning light is displayed.
I will say that the fans are very quiet and are not able to be heard with the engine running(this is true of mine anyway)
i need a torch to see the movement of the blades, even when off they are difficult to see.I can also feel the main fan running
when i place my hand above it
Hopefully someone who is more technically savvy will give you a shout

Yes the temp gauge gets up to 90 degrees then sits there unless it starts to goes horribly wrong.
But I'd expect the fans to be coming on this weather. They should even come on in the winter when parked for a while.

I've been out in mine today and can hear them come to a stop after I've switched off the engine.

If you just leave it idling for half an hour or so do they come on at all? And if you leave it long enough doesn't it overheat?
I wonder if it is something to do with the supercharger?

Update,
Have not left it idling for a long time but i took it out an really thrashed it, pulled up on the drive an they was on, both working.
Soon as tured the engine off then knocked off,
They are really quiet but i surpose a v8 with decats can easily drown out fans lol
