Stage 2 with Launch control & Flatshift

Off to MRC soon for all the usuals + stage 2 and was wondering if I should build in all the bells n whistles such as FS & LC
I only use the car weekends and with this type of map would I still be able to cope with medium / heavy traffic or would everything be aggressive and in your face ?
It's a long trip for me and just want to get the best for the car whilst keeping it normally aspirated
Cheers
Gary

Up to you, not so much how much you use it but how you use it. You need to change the cats for launch and flat. 100cell or removal entirely.

Get the crackles and pops mapped in too while you’re at it! However You’ll need de cat downpipes.

Like to hear what you think of the pops and crackles if you opt for it. I chose not to as I was told it sounded a bit asbo, which is okay, but you can’t turn it off if you want to.

I think a bit of crackle n pop won't hurt and being a v8 should be able to carry it off. Many new Bmw and Mercs playing lovely tunes.
Prob give LC & FS a miss, never going to use it. I drive this car slower than my other

Can you run the pop/crackle map with decat downpipes and standard back boxes?

No chance in the world mate, they’ll need gutting. You’ll have to cut a section open, gut them and weld them back together! They’ll burn and blow into pieces otherwise.

If you didn’t want crackles and pops you could just change only the downpipes and cats as I’m pretty sure MRC Doug was saying the power gains for the RS4 are all in the downpipes and cat configuration.

OK, thanks. I'll ask MRC, as I have decat downpipes and an H-pipe, with standard back boxes.

Just got home from MRC with crackle map + stage 2. Power delivery is epic with different tunes being played through non res milltek and when you lift off everything kicks off, crackling, rumbling & popping.
I love it but not sure it would suit a daily
Reversing into the garage it was loud, just letting everyone know we are home :-)
I now have a V8 that sounds like a V8 :-)
