B7 RS4 Saloon Boot Auxiliary 12v Socket

It's bit of a long story but my 2007 B7 RS4 Saloon didn't come with a 12v socket in the boot. Removed for routing stereo cables ??????

Anyway, any chance somebody could advise either part no. or if it's meant to be the same as the cigarette lighter in the centre console or the rectangular type.

Hi mate i have a spare one with broken lid when i managed to get a spare. I check part number out. Its not the same part number as the centre console one as its external and comes with its own housing as it is slotted into the rear carpet side panel. You should have a hole in the panel where it locates unless it never came as std in yours. I thought they all had a 12v socket as even the none RS i have seen have them.

I have the hole, it just needs filling with the appropriate part. Ideally it needs a proper lid but if you want rid I'll have to see if it at least fills the hole.
