Control arm kit

Post by James1984 » Thu May 10, 2018 10:46 pm

Can anyone recommend a full front control arm kit? I have seen a few on amazon and then i put my registration in it says does not fit rs4, id like to order off amazon if possible as i have a £150 voucher that i can put towards it, I believe the only differences in the standard a4/rs4 is the rubber density? Thanks

meyle hd-proper spec arms for rs4 good warranty on them too
i renewed all my front arms and drop links with them last year part numbers available on here if you search-iirc total cost of front arms just around £400 for both lowers, both uppers -both sides and links 10 parts total-bit more if you do the track rod ends
make sure your pinch bolts are removable before starting this job though-and ensure weight is on car before tightening the inner securing bolts

Thanks, would you say this kit will be ok as it lists A4 S4 and RS4, unless they just sell the stiffer kit for all.

yes-thats the ticket-although i bought mine all as individuals off ebay as i just intended to do the top arms-but while it was apart i figured throw them all on....
in fact truth is i never needed any arms at all but couldnt live with knowing the pinch bolts on the uprights were seized so had to deal with it

as said all the part numbers are on the forum if you want to check them-my car is nice and tight to drive compared to how it was with the o/e arms

Thanks for that, I have found a kit that esc tuning sell for the RS4 which is a meyle kit which has a different part number so that should be the correct one, https://www.ecstuning.com/b-meyle-hd-pa ... 085hd~mhd/
