Skim my disc ??

Post by Neilb76 » Mon Apr 30, 2018 10:02 pm

Just seen a company that will skin your discs upto 4 mm. Shops all over the place. Not sure on price but looking at the gear they use it looks good stuff.

Seeing if anybody has done this as a temp fix to brake wobble etc..

Have a look for them fist site that pips up in google..

I had a wobble on my RS4 a couple of years ago and went to see Marcus at Disc Skimmers. He was very good and definitely knows his stuff. Think there's a few reviews on here about him. He's in Cambs.

I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I think it depends how bad they are and how they've warped.

Presumably some modes will mean the pads aren't in great shape too.

Vibration on mine had become very bad...
