For info. and hopefully of benefit to some.

I have been made aware of a car being offered around the trade. Grey RS4 Saloon with wingbacks. Allegedly there are a number of issues with the car that it may be useful to know about, especially as the history file may or may not be present. Current mileage is circa 125k.

The suggested list of issues is as follows.

1. Paint. Front passenger side wing? Rear driver side wing? Bonnet? Rear passenger door, driver side looks off. More?
2. Bumper ill fitting - has been off, perhaps just for oil cooler change, perhaps more?
3. Wheels all kerbed - tyres apparently have chunks out the sidewalls.
4. Active exhaust flaps sticking - driver side stuck.
5. Rough running - misfire?
6. Oil cooler has been replaced but was leaking and had dropped some oil. Suggestion that car may have been run low on oil. Technician mentioned big top up needed (5 litres?).
7. Heated seat fault - undefined.
8. Passenger front door card may need replacement.
9. "Optics" - window surrounds etc may need replacement.

This isn't a complete list.

All seems normal for a nearly 12 year old car with 125k on the clock.

Good to know info. I would be looking pretty close when wanting to purchase a car like this anyway and all those things if genuine issues would be on my radar to check. It also depends on the price being sold as all fixable if within the budget of sale.

I think I'd be more concerned if you said the front bumper had never been taken off.
