Hi, can anyone help with the following dilemma??
I have had a drivers side drive shaft replaced, the old drive shaft was not sitting correctly in the CV Joint, it was sitting at the edge of the hub causing the outside edge to wear excessively thus causing a failure.
The shaft also showed signs that on full lock it would actually pop out.
The new shaft also sits towards the outside edge, is this normal ?
It seems that the overall length of the shaft is approx 20/25mm to short. Yet it’s a genuine Audi stamped shaft.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
