I think the ambient temp sensor is around the radiator, could be that one, but let’s wait for someone else to confirm who had bumper cover off more than me...

Is that the one that just pushes into a hole bottom of the bumper? Seem to have the same plug the other side but that's plugged in to that sensor. Can't for the life of me see where the one in the picture goes

Homelink = Garage door opener. Do you have three buttons in your sunvisor, if so. There will be a module in the bumper that takes a connector like that.

Should there be 2 horns? One either side. Ive got a horn passenger side but not drivers.

Yes it’s from a horn. One low, one high frequency. You missing one.
My best guess, when it failed, previous owner just took it off.
Good news is that they are pretty generic and you can either pick a new pair from Halfords for like £20 or just get one from eBay from any B7 model
