Fuel in Europe

Hi all, I am heading to Spain for a couple of months later this year in the RS and was wondering what people do if they are unable to get at least 97 ron at the pumps (I'm in NI so that's the max I can get here) I have read mixed reviews regarding octane boosters and I am concerned that using too much 95 ron will start to cause issues with my engine pinkering etc
Where I will be will be quite remote and I think it would be a hefty round trip to get to the biggest town (Logrono) where I would be able to get the fuel needed.
Any advice most welcome

No problem, 98RON is widely available from BP, Repsol and Cepsa throughout Spain.

Hello,

You probably know already but if not, SANEF are now doing the toll tags for Spain and Portugal combined. All UK administered and billed. I have one and the french equivalent. Highly recommend them if you are doing any driving on the private routes (that seem a little less frequent in central Spain I feel?).

Thanks all for the replies. That alleviates some worries that I may have had :) Going to order one of the tags I was not aware of that and will make life much easier!
