Alignment specialists/garages Nottingham?

Post by Markwes » Fri Feb 23, 2018 6:32 pm

As above, any recommendations where I can go for a full alignment in the Nottingham area?
Just had the DRC replaced with B14’s so need to get an alignment in the next few days.

TIA,
Wes

Go to Centre Gravity in Atherstone 1 hour drive from Nottingham, it'll cost you £500 but you will not regret it. This is not just a Hunter wheel alignment it is a full geometry setup.
RS4 B7, Mugello Blue, K&W V3 & HR ARBs, set up by Centre Gravity, Milltek Valved Non Res & cat bypass pipes, BMC air filter, braided hoses, DOT 5.1, Terraclean, MRC Full Carbon Clean, MRC remap 448PS 477NM, 20" S7 alloys with 4mm spacers & Hawke spigots 66.6 > 57.1, AP Racing front discs. Sold Sept 2019. Now rocking an F80 M3

All sorted now thanks gents, I took it to Nottingham wheel alignment centre. Would highly recommend them too, very experienced technicians that do an excellent job and know what they are doing.

Centregravity is not just wheel alignment it is a full geometry setup, corner weighted, more direct steering, balance etc. You pay for what you get. No problem, drive round and round a round about and see how your car splays out with understeer. Ignorance is bliss :drink:

you can only adjust the geometry so far on the rs4-....corner weighting isnt a great art either, settings and feel are personal choice-i like a progressive car with a bit of roll and neutral, when i was younger i liked a car prone to oversteer,i dislike skippy, oversprung cars-some folk like a hard go-kart feel with zero roll-not all folk are ignorant of the way a car feels-i just wouldnt part with £500 for a set up...

No offence gentlemen I just wanted to provide an alternative specialist approach. If anyone wants a drive in my car to see what I mean you are more than welcome, if your in the Coventry area or at the next show.
