I do mine every 2 to 3 years. If you do change the fluid buy lots. As last time I flushed mine twice and the difference is amazing. After the 1st flush I drove it for about 50 miles then the next day flushed it again. The different colours and crap that came out was an eye opener. I know it costs more but its worth it.
RS4 B7, Mugello Blue, K&W V3 & HR ARBs, set up by Centre Gravity, Milltek Valved Non Res & cat bypass pipes, BMC air filter, braided hoses, DOT 5.1, Terraclean, MRC Full Carbon Clean, MRC remap 448PS 477NM, 20" S7 alloys with 4mm spacers & Hawke spigots 66.6 > 57.1, AP Racing front discs. Sold Sept 2019. Now rocking an F80 M3

I run Ferrodo DOT 5.1. Many will say this is not compatible but I have had no issues whatsoever in both of my B7 RS4's. The reason I went for this is that the standard DOT 4 fluid in my original RS4 started to boil over on a 42'C day after a lap at the Nurburgring. So I went for the higher spec.

Get yourself a sealy vs820 brake bleed kit. It's a doddle changing the fluid with it . Just be careful not to pressurise the system too much or you will split the brake fluid reservoir.

I Think Capacity Is 1LTR , But You should Buy 2LTRS Just To Make Sure You Flush everything out. You will probably end up using 1.5 lts . I normally buy 5ltrs as I've another car to do so works out cheaper . I also use a syringe to suck out the old fluid out the reservoir first and add fresh fluid ,then attach the bleeder. Might be uneccessay but was told you have minium mix of the old and new fluid in the reservoir . But if your using the blue fluid and vise versa its not necessary.
I've not tried what covkiller has suggested but will next time as he has said there was a remarkable difference again after 50 odd miles .
