After a slightly frustrating start to ownership due to EML on and my local Audi specialist in Essex not 100% sure on what needed addressing I dropped my car off at MRC for a dyno health check. Secondary air pump for the pre cats was the EML error (phew) but also fuel sensor not behaving correctly along with previous owner having a basic REVO map PLUS carbon build up it was only putting down 350ps.
Picked it up saturday after fuel sensor and filter changed, full carbon clean and deflap along with stage 2 map, I'm not at 425PS and 459NM. If it was running original air intake I'd expect another 3 or 4 PS but previous owner fitted the Pipercross/Revolution intake and with the Milltek the sound is awesome, so won't be swapping back to standard for the sake of a 1% gain!
As you can see from the graph aside from the PS gain is the torque is now building as it should and spiking at 5.5k. Now to enjoy the car and to keep the carbon at bay with some italian tuning when it's out of the garage at weekends!
P.S. Bit of advice around phone cradle, what are my options apart from living with it? New centre console? Cheers Kristian
