Post by docurley » Wed Jan 10, 2018 11:22 pm

After sheet Dave at http://www.hybridpaintworks.com/ which did a great job on them and plan to get the steering wheel parts fitted this weekend and the mirrors the following weekend if I can.

Nice work, are the steering wheel bits painted in titanium?

Not sure of the colour to be honest, was going to get the mirrors satin or mat finished but was advised against it.

Love the look and the finish and can't wait to get them in the car.

These look great, also noticed someone on the Facebook group has just had his wheel bits done in carbon fibre. Both of these options are very tempting tbh.

Looks quite a bit darker than titanium but looks great. Looks like a metallic paint too.

PS is your car from the future?

Car was parked up and when I finished work and went back to my car my wing mirror was smashed so tomorrow will be mirror day.

I had bought the spares years ago when I a b6 A4 which I was planning to do a conversion so I have loads of spares for the car.
