Exhaust drone

I'm getting a bit annoyed with the drone from my non res miltek.....under 2k rpm gets a little annoying.
Anyone else had enough and changed it for better?
I love the roar of it, the only downside is that drone. No valves on mine but that can't make that much difference?

That’s strange Iv got the same non res system but valved and I get very little drone. I was very skeptical when I switched to the non res pipes but I can’t notice much difference at all besides the fact its louder. Maybe it’s just my imagination?

Mines got a real loud drone from 1500 to 2000rpm
Didn't know weather switching to a resonated system would be worth it or not

I've seen a couple of people move to resonated and been happier for it:
Here for example -

I don't have a Miltek but have experimented with a central resonator delete in both the straight through and x-pipe varients. On both occasions, with valves open, I have drone at low revs. In both examples with the valves shut I had no drone.

Where did you get with that experiment Doug? What did you stick with in the end?

A valved system maybe the way forward with this then?

Just don't cruise between 1500-2000rpm if it bothers you too much

Revised:
Let the drone be with you. I personally love it. Try driving on cruise at 175mph, the roar is deafening.

I've spent a fair amount of time on cruise at these speeds the last week and no drone with non res and gutted precats. For me it's the perfect combo, quiet when I want but still sounds great through a tunnel.

I only got as far as x-pipe and straight through before falling out with the fabricator. Absolutely useless, and he still has one of my exhausts! Tried to find someone else local(ish) but could find any recommendations. Currently running the straight through.

I went from non resonated to resonated and the difference was night and day. Still drones but nowhere near as much. I used to get headaches driving it but don't anymore. Mine is valved though.

I might swap to a resonated valved miltek. That didn't drone as bad on my previous rs4
I love the roar, but trying to drive sensibley seems to bring the drone on.
As much as I love to drive it properly, there's.a lot of times where sensible low rev driving is needed
