Hi Guys - thanks for your thoughts and advice last week. I took the plunge on Thursday and bought a two owner, 60k miles saloon in mugello blue. After owning turbo cars from my late teens until mid 20's I'm truly staggered by how an N/A engine revs. This engine really is a work of art. Besotted isn't the word. Look forward to contributing with more posts as the days/weeks go on. See photo attached.

Haha - I am indeed! Loving the car thus far, however needs diagnostics run on it as the ECS light came on - my suspicion is the dealer put in poor quality fuel when they drove it between their dealerships for me to pick it up, could also be flaps, cats and anything really!

Congrats, best colour IMHO.
Do you mean EPS light. If so then could relate to clutch switch or the dreaded manifold flaps. Best to have a scan done.

I don't hae the handbook with me currently, however it is the Emmission Control System light, car running well but a diagnosis is needed and back to the dealer if work is required!

Welcome to the forum buddy. You’re in good company here. Loads of useful, helpful and friendly Petrol heads to bounce ideas off. I had the ECS light on once for about a day and then it went off. Hasn’t come on since. Give it time and see what happens

Looks like a clean example. Hopefully EPC fault is something simple.
Beware the RS4 is an addictive ride!!!!!

I’ve had EPC issue and manifold flap was the problem.
