Hi guys

Unable to get a reply via email, and the contact number on their site goes to voicemail.

I may have missed something about this if previously discussed, so apologies

Can anyone give any info?

Cheers

Nils

Can't say whether they have shut down but from other members experiences it seems best to steer clear of them..

Ahhhh ok

Hmmm, in that case any other contacts or companies in the U.K. Who can produce custom carbon parts?

I'd start with Nick from Driving Passions (TechNick), he's a sound guy. There's a couple of places including Argon that messed people around quite badly and in the end have dropped off the map. It was all a bit of a hot topic recently, try searching if you're interested.

Last I heard, they were trying to sell off their B7 moulds (while they still had customers waiting for parts!)

My experience with them:

B Pillars - had a dent in them and the tops werent straight, holes for the plastic clip in the bottom werent the right size so the clips wouldnt go in properly, no clip at the top to secure the pillars so they would fall off without double sided tape. Was promised a replacement but kept breaking deadlines and failing to deliver again and again despite several promises and excuses, gave them endless chances but ended up having to claim via PayPal.

C Pillars - just about acceptable but by no means perfect especially in the corners of the triangle. Lacquer also very thin.

Centre caps - paid for gloss black border but the border came in chrome, finish round the edges wasn’t seamless so it was obvious it was a skin, retention rings were squished/missing and i had to nick the ones out of my oem caps to stop the caps from falling out of my wheels.

Rear RS4 Badge - lots of finish imperfections but cos its small i could not be arsed to deal with replacing considering the above.

Side RS4 badges - never arrived, waited 2 months, heard every excuse in the book, ended up claiming via PayPal.

I was more than reasonable and patient the whole time, and they took advantage of it which I didn’t appreciate.

All in all, poor quality, not exactly cheap, and late/no delivery.

If they were more upfront about their quality rather than claiming everything they made was to a “perfect standard”, and upfront about delivery times, I would have gone elsewhere. I felt like i was mislead on both counts in order to win me as their customer. They’re not the only carbon supplier to do this, which is pretty sad as it ruins people’s confidence in aftermarket parts in general.

Not surprised they’re trying to exit and sell their moulds etc. I’d have packed it in long ago if I knew I couldn’t handle things properly too.

Sounds like you had it even worse than me.. I ordered $1,800 worth of parts and had to claim it back through PayPal after waiting 5 months. They told me 3-6 weeks. Got every excuse in the book including that the owner was in the hospital for a week.

Total sham of an operation.

There's someone on the rs4 Facebook group who appears to have their moulds.

At that price I’d expect the weave to be 100% perfect, i can already see issues, and this is the angle they picked? No ta.
