I had my mirror brackets sandblasted today ready to be painted. Amazing how much corrosion there was once he mirrors were removed.

Whilst at it I thought I would change the mirrors to Titanium. Finished the right one tonight, what do you think?

Yep. Had the paint mixed up and Matt top coat.

Nice, I had mine sprayed the same last year.

I think it'll freshen it up, the silver is looking a little dated now.

Plus, Volvo's have silver mirrors now!

I was thinking about having my mirrors and wheels done the same and then possibly the steering wheel plastics and gearknob then retrimming both in dark alcantara but not sure whether to take the plunge

The steering wheel would be too far for me but I reckon it would look good. Anyone done this?

Dont think id bother with the wheel, on second thoughts i noticed the interiou door pulls are the same colour and they'd be a pig to do

Agreed, you'd scratch them too easily.

Did you use the audi paint code then use matt top coat?

Mine has titanium mirrors, also steering wheel, gears and hb in dark grey alcantara with red stitch to match my seats. The wheel makes it much better, the original pitted design is a bit golf mk4 tbh
