DRC recharging interest in Kent?

Post by transitman » Sat Jun 03, 2017 9:08 am

All,

Due to the increase in demand regarding failed DRC on some of the RS customers we deal with etc, we are looking to further advance workshop facilities and purchase the Genuine equipment for DRC recharging...

Basically my question is... Who would be interested in the service if I can equip the workshop with DRC recharging capabilities? Its alot of money to spend out so gauging potential interest first... Obviously would be able to carry this out far cheaper than Audi can so long as I can get enough guys to warrant the purchase of the equipment.

Be Honest :)

I would say it depends on price. A lot of people prefer keeping their drc over coilovers so if you could be competitive price wise against this I would think there may be a market.

I'm in the trade Audi dealers give next to nothing discount to non regular Trade Doncaster Audi didn't have the tool Lincoln Audi did one for me all in £120 + vat ( which was incidentally cheaper than Unit20 quoted me and Lincoln is nearer for me than them) at the time I was going to buy the DRC tool but because of price didn't bother, only hassle is having to transport but we have our own truck.

Robnic, £120 isn't bad! Got them on a good day lol. I shall keep weighing it up as to whether it would be worth it, as obviously if it doesn't end up paying for itself, it isn't worth it!

Yes must admit I was surprised at their price, as said down side was transport as you know not advisable to drive de-pressurised Lincoln is a 90 mile round on the truck
