Carbon splitter dead!!!!

Well.... that was short lived.

This was the splitter as fitted this afternoon:

This is the splitter after a speedy run up the dual carriage way:

Fitted in all the marked locations with bolts, it has ripped out the middle 5 plus the 2 either side of it.

This is despite me adding 4 additional fixings as it cannot be fitted as it comes.

Never burnt £400 so quickly!

Disappointed Image

My thoughts exactly. So little thought has gone into the design of it that in fact it traps air until it is ripped off.

Personally I'd be looking to get some form of refund/replacement redesigned piece. This shouldn't happen to a £400 product. You'd expect it if it was a tenner.

I got an EZ Lip a few years back - it's still on firm and looks epic. Would rather have a carbon one (but not bits of carbon) - sorry that is broke, definitely get refunded.

I have the rear diffuser to fit as well. Has anyone else fitted this before I start drilling into my immaculate pride and joy. I don't want to start and find out that it doesn't fit.

Starry has the mcarbon one fitted. Faisal and Ilya (pule333) have Nicks one fitted. I've seen Ilya's in the flesh and it looks and is fitted perfectly.

Where did you think the splitter went? I have enough trouble getting out of car parks, the last thing I need is to make it harder.
