An update - picking my car up from MRC tomorrow.

Looking forward to seeing the results of a carbon clean, manifold de-flap, pre-cut gut and a stage 2 map.

Ooooooo, you will like Sport mode. When you switch back to non-Sport mode you will initially think there is something wrong with the car as it feels so retarded.

Wow wow wow. That is an immense change. The engine is absolutely bonkers.

No regrets!

Did it have VAC leak?

The pre MRC work run, looks quite low for one of these.

Nothing wrong with it pre MRC work other than carbon build up

I'd say almost certainly it must have had vac leak for those starting numbers. I don't think MRC even report it as it just gets fixed as they put the engine back together. Carbon build up alone won't make it that low.

Agree with Mike and Sam, probably fixed a vac leak..
As Mike says the difference with the MRC map is you can really feel the difference in sport mode.. Took me a while to get used to it. But was well worth it.. Enjoy...

It had a health check back in September and no fault found, but produced 360bhp.
