My RS4 isn't my day to day car and it spends quite a lot of time in my garage with approx quarter to half a tank of fuel left in it - the garage door is well insulated and sealed and the house was built approx 8yrs ago so the the standards for wall, roof and floor insulation will be quite good
I was wondering if anyone else who keeps there car in a garage for long periods have had any problems with rust in the fuel tank or contaminated fuel due to condensation build up?
I am considering putting a small dehumidifier in the garage but i don't no how effective it will be so I was wondering what other people do

Re: Condensation in the fuel tank
I think they are twin wall plastic tanks now.

Re: Condensation in the fuel tank
I used to store mine for quite long periods at a time in an insulted but not heated garage.
Slightly over inflated tyres to prevent flat spots, CTEC battery conditioner to ensure battery life, full tank of fuel to eliminate condensation in the tank and windows slightly open with small portable air conditioning unit.
You will be surprised how much water they pull from the air.
Never had any problems what so ever.
