DIS default screen

Post by SimonS4MTM » Wed Apr 26, 2017 9:21 pm

My DIS always starts up on the sat nav page. Is there a way to change what the default start up page is?

Thank you.

I thought it started on the last thing you were on ? Or do you mean the display between the clocks ? You can turn off the compass - it is somewhere in the setup on the RNSE I think - called compass.

The one in the dash. If I turn the compass off, does it still show turn by turn directions when navigating?

Yes - you just lose the arrow & maybe road name while driving around but get Radio Info instead. You get the compass back while it is routing and then the turn by turn guidance when navigating. The compass is horrible I think.

Had a look & is in the the setup compass on/off. Is kind of useful I guess you get direction and road name, lose the 2nd line of text (so still get the Radio Name) but keep the external temp so really are losing the "miles to empty" or whatever have yours set to display.
