Hi Guys,

Was at idle and noticed the EPC light come on, and then the car turned stalled. When I started it again it took a while before it started again. It seemed to stall every 2 minutes and would be a pain to start again.

Vagcom has pulled up the below codes.

I am thinking it could be the relays under the ECU, I have a spare relay so I have tried to swap around the two relays under the ECU but it doesn't seem to be making any difference. Could anything else be causing this or should I just order two new relays to see if it solves the issue?

At first it sounds like a low battery to me.
The first thing is check is the timing of the faults and I can see that all the faults happened at exaclty the same time (mileage) which further points towards the battery for me.
And battery level is low 11v.
Clear the faults, charge it and see what happens.
Not sure about the stalling bit though...

Maybe the bulk of the faults above only appeared as a result of you trying to start the car and are unrelated to the actual stalling fault.

So the battery level could be low because I have been clearing the codes, changing the relay and starting the car again. Will give it charge up this evening. The mileage will be the same because I cleared the codes, got the car started and then read the codes, so haven't been driving it.

I seem to get the same codes regardless if it starts or not

So this morning, I recharged the battery over night, got two new ecu fuses and swapped them over as I thought that should hopefully resolve the problem, cleared all codes before starting the car. I checked every fuse too, couldn't see any blown.

Started the car, EPC light was on. Let it finish cold start and went for a spin around the block. As it started to warm-up I could start to hear it wasn't running right, almost like it was misfiring. I then read the car for the codes, It came up with the 10 listed below.

Managed to find the issue, one of the fuses under the ECU had blown, swapped it over and all good, all codes gone

Would you believe, mine has started to do exactly the same... Where are the fuses under the ECU?
