Steering wheel badges AGAIN

Been chatting to a guy on a vag forum that can and does make bespoke car badges, i metioned the obvious need for replacements over here and he didnt seem to think it would be an issue to make one up.
It would be a gel resin badge but could be made with the same design im told, and would also eliminate wear as the original is olastic and painted.
Anyway do you think people may be interested or is it to non oem for the masses ? Just curious and may get one made up to test the water. Im also curious as to why after all these years there is no option for something that bugs so many people whether its oem or aftermarket.
ive read previously people noting it as off putting when purchasing a b7 etc. Clearly a major dilemma that needs an affordable solution

Possible that anyone has an old damaged badge that can be used as a template ? Or maybe the exact dimensions even ? Thanks

Ftr i think he said about £10 for a bespoke badge. Im sure if he makes a good one that price can be negotiated if enough interest. As said just a conversation at the moment but looks promising

Ok. So anyone have an old badge or point me to any links of the measurements and fitment etc. I cant find any at all
